Position Description

Full time Parts Room Clerk reporting to the Parts Room Manager.

Position Summary

This role is a "Parts Room Clerk" which is responsible for supplying parts to technicians as requested, shipping parts to customers, including UPS, AirFreight, and regular mail shipments or similar such couriers, checking stock levels, rotating stock as new parts enter the parts room, loading, unloading and receiving parts, arranging pickup of parts ordered from local vendors, controlling inventory, and distributing technical information to all pertinent departments.

Parts Room Clerk will familiarize themself with the content and the procedures of the Repair Station Manual as well as the Quality Control System Manual, identify, segregate, and maintain all stock/parts to a serviceable or unserviceable category, and preserve all articles or parts while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf life specifications.

Parts Room Clerk will perform such other duties, which may be delegated to them from time to time by appropriate management personnel.

Position Location and Schedule

This is a full-time, first-shift position at AVMATS Jet Support.

• 6:45 am to 3:15 pm
• Overtime time available as needed

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of work-related experience.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Excellent communications skills at all levels.
• Accuracy in documenting processes and procedures.
• Must be able to multi-task and complete tasks with speed and thoroughness.
• Ability to follow standard safety precautions.
• Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands/arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more unassisted.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Experience or Qualifications

• Forklift experience, certification.
