We are issuing this AD to prevent LP turbine rotor disk separation, which could result in an uncontained engine failure and damage to the airplane. No sign off found. AD No. 2010-06-11 (Amendment 39-16235) dated April 21, 2010 - This AD results from a report of cracks found during a fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) of the disc bore. We are issuing this AD to prevent an uncontained failure of a second stage LPCR disc and/or a third stage LPCR disc due to cracks in the bore, which could result in damage to the airplane.
